Future Project #1 Dessert Stuffed Fruit

Apologies for the slow goings of this blog. It's a bit difficult to cook and bake when you're in school and such. I'll start up for realz in the summer hopefully! But even if this is not a time for cooking/baking, I still spend PLENTY of time thinking of food.

My immediate reaction was, omg, must do. Baking something inside a citrus fruit sounds awesome! The next thought was, well, is there any other combination other than citrus+chocolate? I mean, orange-chocolate is fine, but chocolate is decadent in so many other ways. Maybe if it was a salted caramel lined orange with brownies. But brown looks gross. What about cake? Wait no, cheesecake. Orange cream cheese is definitely awesome. Must learn how to make cheesecake first. I mean, maybe orange is ok. If you bake it (not campfire), and then brulee the orange somehow in the over (broiler?), that could be pretty good right? People are also brulee citruses and all that nonsense. But, I'd probably carve out the orange. Yea, it looks like they just at their way through the orange. Germs are gross when you're not camping.

First Post!

I can't count the number of times I have written a "first post" entry. Unfinished diaries (about 3-4 currently). Blogs that start, shrivel, then burst back into life on a whim. So why start with first? There will likely be another twenty "first posts" on this blog alone. I suppose there are only so many firsts that you can claim in life, so even something as small as a first post food blog merits a small hurray.

Obviously, hurrays are best celebrated with cake...

...baked in eggshells of course! 

Confession. These were actually made last spring. But I didn't have a blog back then dedicated to nommy food did I? And all I've recently made was just some brown butter snickerdoodles, apple walnut cookies, buffalo chicken taquitos... wait, the taquitos might have been interesting. But I forgot to photography them in my hunger.
