First Post!

I can't count the number of times I have written a "first post" entry. Unfinished diaries (about 3-4 currently). Blogs that start, shrivel, then burst back into life on a whim. So why start with first? There will likely be another twenty "first posts" on this blog alone. I suppose there are only so many firsts that you can claim in life, so even something as small as a first post food blog merits a small hurray.

Obviously, hurrays are best celebrated with cake...
...baked in eggshells of course! 

Confession. These were actually made last spring. But I didn't have a blog back then dedicated to nommy food did I? And all I've recently made was just some brown butter snickerdoodles, apple walnut cookies, buffalo chicken taquitos... wait, the taquitos might have been interesting. But I forgot to photography them in my hunger.
